Buying a car from any dealer isn’t a nice experience, unless you pay the full price or enjoy the haggling to reduce the price. You never feel a winner and always think you have payed too much. Servicing, mats and flaps are extra, no mention of fuel, 3 years breakdown costs extra, delivery charge is excessive. Mats were eventually offered FOC but the discount was adjusted accordingly as I had reduced the extras on the vehicle. Athough the vehicles final value isn’t effected by any extras. The APR interest rate is high compared to other car manufacturers but the model I was purchasing is popular, but at today’s current rates it is rather insulting (this probably isn’t control by R&D). There was less gamesmanship from the Bristol office, compared to the Cribbs outlet and I liked the matter of fact manner of the sales manager. Poor number of showroom vehicles in both branches. If Peugeot want to be considered a premium brand, they have to look at Mini, BMW, Volvo and Audi to see how it’s done, but the branch is under refurbishment and this may increase the perceived quality of the brand. Reasonable discount was offerred. I hope the purchase is trouble free, but let’s wait and see, I will update this review when the process is finalised.7 years agoExcellent service from Scott and Gary…
