    Visit and Purchase

    I made enquiries before visiting the showroom, and was assured of a test drive before filing the paperwork. I was also assure by head office the model I was looking at was the best one, it didn’t turn out so. When arriving at the local showroom, we were treated well, but our appointment made through head office hadn’t been logged. So we were left waiting for over an hour. Although refreshments were available from the free vending machine, we found it rather than being notified of its existence hidden in a corner of the showroom. When I and my wife were finally seen, we were notified that there was no chance of a test drive of either an electric or petrol model. We did however settle for the better model of our chosen car, as it turned out to be the one we wanted originally. We did view the model in the showroom, but we’re left to it by ourselves. Before starting the paperwork, we were notified the there is a backlog of orders due to a shortage of components. A fair comment, but not a settling one. After filing the paperwork we are looking at a 4 to 6 month wait for our vehicle. The only reason I have given the higher rating than I would have is the polite manner and way we were treated by staff. There overall standard is professional enough. I think the biggest issue with the whole process is the break down in communication between head office and the local showroom. The showroom staff were quite helpful and very polite.

    As I live near Glasgow

    As I live near Glasgow, I had booked a video viewing for the second time, again it didn't happen. I rang Romford & whilst apologetic they explained that the ds salesman was away again. However a few minutes later a salesman Charlie Morgan rang & talked me through the video, part exchange, everything, leading me to reserve the car, he promptly sent me all the documents to read, He made up for the let downs earlier.
