    Excellent customer service

    We recently bought a Peugeot 208 from the Chingford branch of Robins & Day July 2022. We were very happy with the excellent customer service provided by Ervis and Elton who were both very friendly and helpful from start to finish and made us feel as though nothing was too much trouble. Ervis sorted out the car tax for us and other paperwork which was very helpful and also got in touch afterwards to check that everything was ok and we were happy with the car which we are. Thanks Ervis and Elton for a great car buying experience!

    Great Car Purchase Experience with Robins & Day Nottingham

    Having recently purchased a Peugeot 3008 from Robins & Day Nottingham, I can honestly say it was probably the best car purchase experience we have ever had and we have had a fair few over the years. Having researched thoroughly online both Robins & Day and the Peugeot 3008, we visited the Nottingham Branch having already visited 2 car supermarkets and had decided firmly on a 3008 and also that we would prefer to go with a Peugeot Dealer. After about 5 minutes of arriving and looking around a 2019 3008, that we had seen added to their website the day before, that had just come out of manufacturers warranty, Gary Foster came out to see us. He was professional, informative, very funny and made my wife feel comfortable, confident and relaxed as she was a bit nervous about test driving a car with all computer mod cons, electronic handbrake and screens everywhere as she had not had a car like it before. Gary spent 10-15 minutes running through everything whilst we sat in the car, and kept asking if my wife was ok and if she had any questions. He explained things incredibly well and moved the car around the car park to show her the reversing camera in operation. After driving to a supermarket with a big car park, Gary let my wife take over for a test drive. Gary again made her feel confident and explained more bits and bobs as we went along the A60. We then pulled in at another large car park and Gary talked her through more things and then my wife reversed into a space as he explained the reversing camera again as she was reversing. On returning to Robins & Day we discussed things and Gary gave is a really good deal, all within our budget, including a good price on the 3008, a 2 year warranty, GAP insurance, Car Protect and a really good price on our old car, that was within the range we had received online. We agreed the deal and Gary explained everything as we went along and all the documents had arrived by email by the time we got home. As he said he would, Gary called my wife during the week to see if all the documents had arrived and if she understood everything and to ask any questions she needed to. We arranged to pick the car up 2 weeks later and as before Gary greeted us with a smile, was professional, funny and went through everything carefully and informatively during the handover process and dealt with the Car Tax online, and the exchange with DVLA of both cars, so very little for us to do. Gary had previously said that he would put a tenner's worth of petrol in the car, as it was running on fumes when we test drove it, but he ended up giving us half a tank full. Another nice touch. Big, big thank you Gary for everything and would wholly recommend both Gary and Robins & Day Nottingham to anyone.

    Ordering a Motability Car

    After a bit of a struggle to find a car parking space, then we couldn't find a disabled one ( hence 4 stars), we eventually parked and made our way to the showroom which was well laid out, clean and presentable. The sales person we had an appointment to see was waiting for us as promised. He was helpful and obviously very experienced and extremely knowledgeable about the Motability scheme. He spent a lot of time to ensure everything was correct and we were ordering exactly what we wanted needed. He ensured we had all his contact details if we need to get in touch again and nothing was too much trouble. We came away happy that our needs would be met and our new car would arrive as soon as it was possible within the current constraints (not the fault of the dealer).
